If you have been following the ‘Seven Weeks to Improved Health‘, you should be seeing some results by now. I would enjoy hearing from you. Let me know how you are progressing, or if you are having problems.
Now, lets talk about a good nights sleep…rest, sweet rest. Here are a few tips that will help.
Make Dinner a Light Meal-, and no later that 7pm. If you eat a heavy evening meal, you will have a hard time digesting it. You will wake up feeling sluggish, and like you haven’t slept at all. You would be better off skipping dinner, than to load your stomach down with too much food.
Don’t Go to Bed Angry or Upset- Get the anger issue settled before you go to bed. If you go to bed angry, you will toss and turn all night. Your food will just sit in your stomach and spoil, creating a very acidic state. Learn to say, “I’m Sorry!”…
Say Your Prayers- Be thankful for living through another day. Count your blessing. Peace of mind will help bring rest to the body.
Don’t Worry Over Things You Have No Control Over- Just do the best you know how, and let God take care of the rest of the problem. If you must worry, take about 5 or 10 minutes and worry, worry, worry! Then close your eyes and go to sleep.
No T.V. in The Bedroom- The bedroom is for personal time with your spouse, rest, sleep, and dreaming. Ninety percent of things on t. v. is junk anyway. Why feed your mind garbage that just upsets you or excites you?
You should keep your bedroom as dark as possible. No night lights, no clocks glowing in the dark, close the blinds, pull down the shades. Even the smallest amount of light can interrupt the sleep cycle.
If you will try this for 30 days, I will guarantee you will notice a big difference in your health and well being. Try it, you may like it!
