While sitting relax your shoulders and inhale through the nose and exhale through your mouth. Your abdomen or stomach area should be moving to show that you are using your diaphragm.

Another one is the prolonged breathing which means that you breathe in for two seconds and breathe out for five seconds. In this way, the trapped air will be expelled.

Apart from doing the breathing exercises, you can also engage into activities that make that could improve your lungs and heart. This can increase your lung function slowly and your heart will return in its natural phase. But before that, make sure you have already talked to a physician or any medical practitioner do that you will know the other possibilities that would occur form your physical training.

On the other hand, walking, stretching your body and weight training are good examples of physical exercise that must go together with your breathing exercises. You can start these activities slowly with a few minutes every single day and then you can add some more time after you think you can do more. These will keep your muscles supple and helps your lungs and heart to coordinate properly.
