Sleep is the time your body uses to recover. Try to get between 8-9 hours of sleep every night. The less sleep you get, the more run down you become and the more at risk you are of catching a virus or getting sick.
4. Drink plenty of water
Water makes up the majority of your body mass. You should try to drink around 2 liters of water throughout the day. Water helps your body flush toxins, keeps you hydrated and will generally make you feel healthier.

Regular exercise will also help keep you healthy and give you a feeling of wellness. A simple thing like 30 minutes of walking every day will help to keep you healthy, feeling good and will add years to your life.
7. Get regular health checkups

8. Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol
