Select-A-Vision Flexi Light Reading Glass with Matching Case, Gray, +3.00 Review

Have been using this brand for a few years now.

Yes, in some ways they are flimsy.. but what do you expect from something that has to sacrifice something to meet the goal of being the lightest readers out there?

They truly are super light and not uncomfortable to wear all day.
No digging into the sides of your nose marks here !! Perhaps a minimal across the bridge.. but only minimal.

I only wish they would make the red readers with the silicone tips.
I used to get so many compliments when I wore the red ones, from women and men alike. You can tell when a compliment is genuine and these were.
But I had to trade in wearing them for the gray ones.
The ones without the silicon tips fall off quite easily and due to the product being so light, you might not notice it happening. It doesn’t make a tell tale noise, when it hits the ground.
I have lost many a pair that way, finding them run over later, outside my house where my car is.

When they do break, and what brand doesn’t?, the side piece will usually snap off.. but with a little crazy glue, can usually be put back on.

Anyhow… all in all a good deal…

I wouldn’t use any other brand… don’t want that ’senior’ nose, if i can help it.

One caveat… sometimes you have to try on a few pairs to find one that has not been set askew during the heat of transit during distribution. Worth it though.
