Dieting Does Not Mean Good Health

Crash diets can undoubtedly bring about impressive short-term results, but the pounds will pile back on as soon as you revert to your old habits. Of course, we’d all like an instant fix to allow us to shed some inches. However, rapid weight loss is extremely unhealthy and fad diets generally rely on completely excluding certain foods that your body needs.

It may not be what you want to hear, but the only way to ensure lasting results is to commit to a long-term programme of healthy eating and regular exercise.

Quick-fix diets deny your body the nutrition it needs and, instead of improving your health as they claim, may actually damage it. Even if you do succeed in losing a few pounds initially, most fad diets are impossible to keep up in the long run.
